CULTURE CLASH

Since 1984, Culture Clash (Richard Montoya, Ric Salinas and Herbert Siquenza)
has been storming the stage of such venues as the Kennedy Center, Lincoln
Center, New York Shakespeare Festival/Public Theater, Mark Taper Forum, La
Jolla Playhouse, INTAR Hispanic American Arts Center, Dallas Theater Center,
Berkeley Repertory Theater and South Coast Repertory, as well as countless
university and community stages.

Culture Clash set a milestone for Latinos with thirty episodes of Fox TV's
Culture Clash, the first Latino-themed sketch comedy television show to be
executive produced and written by its stars. The show aired in seven markets
in the United States. Culture Clash has appeared in the films Encino Man and
Hero, and members of the group have been seen individually in Falling Down,
Mi Vida Loca and Star Maps. In 1992, the group co-produced, wrote and starred
in an award winning short film entitled Columbus on Trial. That same year their
play A Bowl of Beiongs premiered on PBS's Great Performances series; their
other works include The Mission, S.O.S. Carpa Clash and Radio Mambo:
Culture Clash Invades Miami. For more information about Culture Clash
